Head of Delivery Planning
we are currently working through the PIRs and incorporating the lessons learnt into the revision process. Once we have done that we will jointly be looking at the next wave of units so think we are a few weeks away. As soon as we have more information I will let you know.

OPG
the new planning values for Photo on Delivery, presumably they are being incorporated into the next wave of revisions?

Head of Delivery Systems
yes we are looking at this at the moment and the aim is to build the activity time and frequencies into GeoRoute going forwards
I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

They think that a revision is complicated and that we need technology to work out the size and sequencing of walks....

No... all you needed to do was ask the Posties in each depot which walks were too small and which were too big, as well as which walks could be sequenced better. Obviously some Posties will have different opinions at times....so you may need to simply test the odd round by sending someone else out on the round to do the job properly and report back.

Posties would have been able to give you the answers pretty quickly and accurately. And it doesn't take a genius to them work out how to shift loops around so that the rounds are more even. You are never going to get it spot on. As long as the rounds aren't ridiculously easy or ridiculously big then you are good.

You do not ever need to use that mapping crap ever again! and you do not need to waste money employing 'Revision experts' or whatever their job title is.
