When will receive back pay?

Post by daisy duck »

Hi does anybody know or have any idea when we will be receiving our 2 year's back pay.
I have heard November but I think that is when we will receive our 6 month back pay from April 2021.
Thanks.

You're correct that Nov is the payment date for Mar - Sep this year but for back pay before then it's in the agreement:
It is agreed that the back pay will be paid as one lump sum. Back payments will be
processed as soon as practicable following the parties signing the Letter Agreement,
but as a new manual process and given the numbers of employees involved it is
possible this timeframe will move. The parties will jointly update employees on progress
and projected payment timelines.
So basically hurry up and wait........................................

As soon as they've added enough hurdles to jump to make sure very few receive anything

When do we get the agreement letter for both parties to sign......then everyone can leave and still get paid the backpay for two years at least if they are planning on departing the pathway to change!

Really has this happened so we don't have to do anything personally to confirm this......I need to leave to go to another job soon so didn't want to lose nearly £2k in back payments on a technicality.

Anyone employed on the 16th June 2021 will receive back pay assuming they meet the eligibility criteria.

And if you leave before the end of September you'll get f'@@K all for April to September this year, even if you meet the regularity criteria.

Thanks Woody.....that has been a great help....I can now leave in peace I would have stayed in this job for a long time but times are a changin and sometimes you get a better offer, still I will miss all the guys and the crackers banter the most more than anything .....respect to everyone who does this job it can be quite hard but ultimately reasonably enjoyable sometimes.
Stay frosty everyone.....peace out.
