well in my personal opinion this agreement has only 1 winner and its not the staff , i cannot for the life of me understand why the cwu even agreed to the 8 hrs over time in a month  as overtime is overtime regardless and why didnt the cwu agree to just any overtime of 48 hrs and above over the 6 month period , as i have worked mine out over the last 6 month period and over the 6 months i have done 74 hours overtime BUT because in 1 month i only did 4 hours i wont get jack s**t :arrrghhh and im guessing that a lot of other staff will be shafted the same way .
You definitely won’t be the only one. People have 3 months to put in an Employment Tribunal claim. On that basis there shouldn’t be anything stopping you or anyone else in this position putting in a claim once the back payments have been made or in your case for one period, not been paid. The argument is still the same, that RM overtime is regular as it’s an everyday occurrence in every single office and so there does not need to be this artificial 8 hours a month in every month for 6 months definition of regular. Any reasonable person would say posties regularly work overtime and the facts bear that out.
:thumbup , i never thought of that . thanks.

I’m on wallingtons weeks plus 30 days A/L a year = 15 weeks or so a year in which I’m paid just my contractual hours (25) ... I work usually about 8 hours OT or thereabouts (sometimes way more) on a working week. What am I looking at backpay? 15 x 8 ? X2 years or is that incorrect?

Pleased to say mine looks correct so I think their calculations are accurate.
The day is gonna come when we’re all gonna have to testify.

I’d leave it until later, there will be higher than usual volumes trying to access the app.

I was not notified or briefed by our rep to withdraw tribuneral claim by the deadline date or received any other official communications until I saw it on the Facebook page and by this point the deadline had passed. Managed very badly.

I've logged on through a desktop PC, can't see mine yet but one of the notifications within the site
says it'll be there from Wed PM.

Got nothing. Going through my payslips there's some months I've averaged 20hrs+ and one or two months in each qualifying period that I averaged less than 8hrs. What a load of bollocks it should just be the average of your o/t over the 6 months none of this qualifying bullshit, what moron agreed to that? If they did the average mine over 6 months it would have been closer to 15 hours a month for me

So this means someone who did 48hrs in a 6 month period can get a payout but someone that did 100 hrs can get nothing? How is that fair? :d'oh!
Union what Union? Do we have a union?

Yeah I only really started doing a lot of Overtime in September last year so thought I might just get a payment for the last period, but have missed out because a load of my OT didn't go in for 2 weeks in October, leaving me at 7 hrs for the month... but 50+ for all the other months.

The way to go on this would have been for everyone to get an average payment for the backdate 2 years, and then if they absolutely had to have some gating on it, 8 hrs a month to qualify moving forward. At least then everyone would know the requirement in advance, not getting shafted from behind like this.

Ah well, at least I'll get something on November 26th. My walk partner got about £700 so he's happy as larry.
