I’m on leave this week and received this message within the HP section on the app. Anyone else had this??
By the way I’ve meet the criteria easily.
(For reference, I’ve changed from a Wallington to a Weds SA from this week.)

Re: Non payment of HP for this week
Is it just referring to that little bit extra you are paid when on holiday? So you will still get your regular pay just not the holiday pay accrued on overtime?

Yes, this means you’ll still get your regular pay for the hours you work. The only thing that changes is that you won’t receive the extra holiday pay that usually comes from overtime. So, it’s just the holiday portion of your overtime that’s affected—everything else stays the same.Lottery Sambad

Re: Non payment of HP for this week
That shower had test cases and were ready to go at to the high court. At the very least they should’ve got a deal whereby there is no minimum amount of monthly hours overtime required. My wife gets holiday pay if she worked it, no hoops needed, it’s automatically paid out. The prison service had theirs backdated to 2 years (I might need to double check that). Everyone I know in employment gets paid it, they don’t have to do 8 hours a month or go through ACAS.
The fact they capitulated, did a shoddy branch vote (my branch - which ultimately voted against the deal - did their vote via frigging Facebook!), and then gaslit anyone who asked for support in submitting private claims is incompetence at best.
As an absolute minimum, if RM threaten to withdraw automatically taking subs from pay and day release for reps, CWU should counter by tearing up the average holiday pay agreement and going back through the courts.
I’d love nothing more than to see Dave Fraud ejected from CWU HQ and stripped of his title and pension. Remove Martin Walsh too. Neither can be trusted.
The day is gonna come when we’re all gonna have to testify.

Imagine if RM threatened either of those two things, the top brass for the potential loss of loads of members who can't be arsed to set up a direct debit and the area reps etc who would mess their pants at the prospect of going back on a duty.HTPostman wrote: ↑21 Aug 2025, 09:37

For the majority of them, the main focus, is avoiding going back on a duty at all costs.ted_e_bear wrote: ↑21 Aug 2025, 16:17Imagine if RM threatened either of those two things, the top brass for the potential loss of loads of members who can't be arsed to set up a direct debit and the area reps etc who would mess their pants at the prospect of going back on a duty.HTPostman wrote: ↑21 Aug 2025, 09:37
