A Post Office in the Selby District was broken into overnight.
The branch on Croft Road in Camblesforth was targeted by thieves, who removed tiles from the roof to gain entry to the premises.
Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them on 101, reference number 12180047932.
They're also urging residents to remain vigilant, and report any suspicious activity immediately.
