A Post Office in a Nottinghamshire town has been given the go-ahead to open up - 900 metres down the road from the old location.
The Clipstone Road West branch, in Forest Town, near Mansfield, has been a crucial part of the town say residents, after initial concerns were raised on the move to a service garage.
The new branch will now open in the BP Clipstone Road Service Station on October 13, seven days a week, from 8am to 8pm Monday to Sunday.
The Post Office invited customers in July to give their comments on the move in a six week public consultation.
Suzanne Richardson, Post Office regional manager said: "We are making it easier for customers to get their cash, send and collect their mail and do their banking because we know how important these services are to local residents.
"We are confident that this vibrant new-style Post Office will meet customer needs. This modernisation is part of a major investment programme, the largest in the history of the Post Office."
The old store will close its doors at 5.30pm on October 12.

They're open longer hours but they don't offer a full range of services and the staff aren't trained properly.
