Post office customer delivering parcel threatened with machete and robbed in Bolton

The customer was returning to their van after delivering a parcel when the robbery took place

A post office customer was threatened with a machete and robbed of a large amount of money after they delivered a parcel.

He was approached by two men as he returned to his van after leaving the post office on George Street, in Farnworth, Bolton , on Wednesday morning.

One of the robbers was wielding a machete.

He was threatened with the weapon and the men stole a large sum of money.

Greater Manchester Police have launched an investigation and are asking for any witnesses to come forward.
