A Post Office branch has hit back at a 'nasty' customer - who left a one-star review. The customer left the Google review after attempting to send an 'item' at Leek Post Office.
The review states: "The rudest members of staff I have ever come across - shouting at me about what I was sending in front of a queue of people. I couldn't believe how atrocious their customer service skills are."
The High Street branch has shared the exchange on social media. The branch points out that one colleague is on holiday, two are off sick, and some staff are working seven days a week without a lunch break.
The Leek Post Office response states: "You clearly remember it quite differently to me. What I remember is you trying to send a prohibited item through the post so we refused. I also remember you saying some pretty nasty things to us - not for the first time. And this is all despite the fact it happened years ago. I don't forget when people make me or my staff cry. It is a very ugly side of an otherwise fantastic job."
