No mention of the pension! So for basically a £6/week payrise we would be accepting all the crap they want. Notice they want to put the time on a stage for sickness back upto 12 months, not got a problem with that. All it did was make it easier for people to take the piss when it changed to 6 months

So, by some miracle, this deal gets signed tomorrow. This would give the business a whole 6 months - including the Christmas rush - to trial these huge, sweeping changes. And then no matter what, we implement them in April, with all our under-staffing issues.

Plus, maybe Moya Greene is going to be with us for years and decades to come, but I somehow doubt it. So, we'll also have a new head of the company with absolutely no investment in this agreement.

i don't know. Sounds like a bit of a reach for me.

It's worrying how much you can hide by using certain "Management Speak" phrases. I'm glad we've had several letters from the CWU explaining it.

The main thing that worries me about these kinds of offers is that some of the Thick Twats I work with will probably be tempted by the Bribe!

They did it last time and I bet they'll do it again.

I remember before the last IA being taken into the office and given a lecture by the DOM. He accused me of trying to pressurise colleagues into voting YES. I basically explained to them some basic arithmetic, how by accepting the lump sum today they would be losing out on much more in the long term. I believe I may have said something along the lines of, "So long as you get enough money for a cheap holiday in Turkey you're willing to sign away everyone else's terms & conditions that have been hard fought for over the years....... You selfish bastards"!

I fully support the union and expect them to see right through this offer.

The union should make these details public so that they guys sitting on the fence can see for themselves what the company has in place for us in the future.

Rise up and support OUR union has send a massive vote of confidence in their leadership by voting YES or forever accept attacks on our pay and conditions until we hit rock bottom.

You are so right, I have heard some tempted even if it was £600. I said you stand to lose 10 times that amount with your service you have left. If you plan to be in the business longer than 18 months from March 2018, you would have to be mad to accept this payout.
