Interview lined up but cancelled | Recruitment

Hi guys.

I had an interview scheduled in March for postperson with driving but was cancelled due to the current situation - which is totally understandable.

I received an email the other day explaining they are no longer advertising for the role; even though I had the interview lined up.

Does anyone know why this may be?

I was hoping they would reschedule as I used to work for Royal Mail before but regret leaving.

They have a freeze on recruitment until they work out what exactly the future of the business is.

Thanks for getting back to me. I will keep my eye out on the page to see if they advertise again in the near future

It looks like recruitment has opened up again, fixed term contracts until the end of June 2021 being offered up here.
