No Contact - is this the norm

Hello I got contacted and offered role of postman to which I accepted said they would call be back with some more questions and I haven’t heard anything since. Managed to contact HR who said to email my application.com also not heard anything since contacted local office same result - is this the norm as it’s driving me nuts being out of work and not knowing.

You’ll probably find, as I did, that the RM wheels turn very slowly at first but once things start happening it’s all done very quickly.
