Hi, just wondering if your hourly rate increase at 6 months is an automatic thing or does the manager need to sign you off your probation or anything formal like that?
This is me into my first working week after being postwoman for 6 months.
(And I still love it!!!)

Hi, mine was automatic (no meeting or anything like that). i think technically you are on probation but if there are any issues you would know about it well beforehand.
