Wallington weeks

Has anybody got any documentation/links to how this is administered?
It would seem straightforward, work 5 six day weeks, have the 6th off.
However my office apply'rotation'payback where we have to work 9 weeks over xmas period before getting week off.
Any ideas?

Is this a common thing...Wallington Weeks?

Not sure walking 8 miles+ a day for 6 days a week with 1 day off is a great idea for the body, but what do I know, I haven't even started yet, so maybe it's as easy as pie for the hardcore experienced Postie.
