What is the weekly take home pay ?

Hi all,
I have just been accepted and received a start date. I am trying to work out the weekly take home amount.

i have spoken to a couple of posties who say its just over 300 per week ? - does this sound correct ?

Im over 18 on a 30 hour contract so £10.25 to start. Also i get £25.16 (pro-rata) - what ever that amounts too per week.

Any confirmation would be good off you fine people :P

Should be around £288 as you aren’t enrolled in the pension scheme until 3 months. Also a little less if you have union fees coming off, which is advisable. Union fees are £2.60 per week.

Check out a website called take home pay calculator, you can put your tax code in there and it will tell you exactly what it should be.

I take £298.70 after tax

Gross: 343.25
Tax: 22.80
NI: 21.75

Basic pay: 307.60
Delivery supplement: 19.86
Defined area Supp W02 (door 2 door leaflets I believe): 15.79


2% pay rise due April

And youve probably read the 6 month pay increase and year pay increase

Nothing to do with D2Ds. It's AFAIK only available in areas where RM struggle to recruit enough staff

Mine is 1197 L, going to be 1262 L next financial year.
The extra 120 is for uniform cleaning I assume.
