25 hour contract ?
No, overtime is not guaranteed
Can't live of 25 hours contact comfortably? Then yes, I would be worried and looking for a better waged job, or a 2nd job

25 hour contract ?
As above overtime is not guaranteed. I understand where you are coming from as I too went from a 40hr job to a 26hr contract and was very nervous I could earn enough. I expect availability of overtime is dependent on depot, personally I have found at my depot most people work their rest day every week and it’s never turned down and if your manager knows you are available for more hours then will often ask you to come in early or do extra runs after your shift ends. BUT this is dependent on depot so maybe try and see if you can speak to someone there who can let you know the situation with OT there. Good Luck and hope works well for you

25 hour contract ?
depends on how much you were on, I was working 48 hours at just above minimum wage, I went to a 30 hour contract and I'm better off... theres usually always over time, or SA's.. sign for one if you can
