Got the job a week ago but still no contract!

Hi all,

I got the job a week ago and they stated in there email I will get my contract in the post it’s still not here and I start in a week! Any ideas?

Don’t worry about it I was told the same, I started 11th December and it finally arrived last week.

I started 2 weeks ago and got my contract about 9 days into the job, don’t worry you’ll get it during your first couple of weeks, I don’t think anyone gets theirs before they start

Have you sent off the forms yet, or are you waiting for your contract to arrive to send them back with that?

I'm starting tomorrow but have also not had my contract as yet.

Hi Everyone,

Thank you for your reply's,

regarding the forms that i have to fill out i was going to send them with my contract so no i have not sent them out yet. However does this mean i will not be paid on my first week as ive not sent the forms back. Also what happens regarding uniform in order to order uniform i need my employee number but i dont hav that as its on my contract that has not come yet. Does this mean i will no be out on the streets as i dont have uniform?
