Hi all
Now am not sure if this is me being impatient but on the 21st dec 2018 i recieved an e-mail saying that i had passed the interview stage for a postman but i had to send information back within 48hrs (which i did) about where i have lived for vetting. Now the e-mail stated that it would only take upto 14 days for the vetting and then i would be sent an start date, now it has been 24 days and i am getting itchy feet as i am wanting to hand my notice in at my current work, also i have holidays left at my current job so i could possibly start earlier than i originaly told them on the interview. The problem is there are no numbers or e-mails to ring and text. I have tried the number for HR but you just get a recording saying that they can not help if it is about appling for a job at the royalmail. Is there anything i can do or do i just sit and wait?????

Judging from what I've read, and going through, I'd sit back and wait

I applied 3rd December
Still going through security checks, with latest email being Friday just gone

I believe there is an email MyApplication@royalmail.com that you could use

Can I ask how you contacted them? I got the email to say I’d been successful at interview on 24th December but my online status still just says ‘in progress’ which was updated on 4th Jan
