Question Regarding Saturday

Post by DanDave95 »

Hi all, I have been thinking about applying for a number of roles recently. The only thing I am worried about is the 2 finish on a Saturday as I have a number of other commitments that day. Do many offices let you start earlier to finish earlier or do you have to start and finish on the set times each day

Any advice would be brilliant

Thanks

Question Regarding Saturday

Unfortunately, most offices will work from a set schedule. You are unlikely to be allowed to start work early (on an official basis) if by the time you are ready to start delivering, not all the mail has been sorted and is ready.

However, a lot of people do start work early and finish early, just that its frowned upon by the CWU and colleagues, but managers will turn a blind eye to it unless it affects them or their bonus.
