I’m in the same boat, mine has said in progress for 10 days now, I thought I might have received further correspondence by now, it’s very frustrating not having a start date

Hey guys, it does take a ridiculous length of time, mine took 17wks but I believe that is not the norm, but from chatting to the other newbies it seems to take up to 12wks.So hang on in there but don't expect this to be a speedy process.

It is so frustrating , hopefully your not much longer now, although I’m not sure how long pre employment checks take, did they let you know an estimated start date I was given 02/01/2019 , but obviously I’d like to find out to give notice

The job advert for the position they offered me had a start date of 28th December, I just can’t see it happening by then though, I so want to give notice, I hate my current job!

Had a fun couple of days as yesterday got an email saying i'd been unsucessful, felt my hole world had come apart then after a few phone calls and an e-mail i got it sorted. Basically they were taking me off the waiting list and i had been sent wrong e-mail. Then this morning got the e-mail asking bout dvla check so once got home tried the link was filling in over and over again only to realise its only if you live in england walse or scotland. So back on with e-mails again to explain i was in northern ireland, then to get a responce saying they had everything they needed from my copies from interview. In one way i could tear my hair out but on other hand at least in no things are finally moving.
