Pre employment checks taking ages!

Im hoping someone on here can help!

I was offered my position with royal mail end of september and had the email confirming the details and that pre employment checks would commence. I went online and filled out all my details immediately and have also emailed my photo to the local depot for my ID card.

Its been nearly 6 weeks now and i have had zero contact and i am eager to get started now. I have emailed various addresses with no reply and when i call local depot they cant help either.

If there was something holding the process up then i would like to know but i havent been contacted once

I've have had the same issue and still waiting, what I've found is best to do is call them directly I was told on Friday that I should hear back today about a start date, I'm still waiting and will just call them again on my lunch break.

Hey mate I've been bugging them on this number -

Its's actually worked too as I've just got my start date through today, so persistence is key
