ive just been offered an interview for postman/driving. i started my working life as a telegram lad back in 1978 i was dismissed for bad timekeeping in 1988. ive regretted this ever since & would love to get back on the job ive got several friends from my time with R/M & none of them have a bad word for the job they still love it. looking back i realise what a mistake it was to loose this job. will they still keep records of me from then? do i ineed to mention i was previously a postie & why i was finished? ive read the interview tips on the forum any one got any updated info for my interview questions they will ask etc many thanks everyone Daz

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

If you get in, your previous employment counts towards holiday entitlement, and for the record not seniourity.
