Hello

I'm going to have an interview on the 3rd of april for a postman with driving

The ad says 9am to 2pm, 30h per week and 5 days a week. It's really like this ?

I'm worried because my driving licence is from another EU country, that can be a problem?

Overtime is paid on the same rate (9,51£) ?

As I have a flight booking for this Christmas they will accept that?

You should have had your EU drivers licence exchanged already, tell the manager who will interview you that you will do it straight after, you can fill the forms in at any Post Office, send them with your drivers licence, ID card or passport and photos and a £50 fee and your new UK drivers licence will come through post in aprox. 10 days.

Overtime is paid the same as your hourly rate.

9 am till 2 pm is not fixed hours, you can start earlier or later and definately finish later as you will be slower as a new starter and in time, you might need the extra money from overtime wich is always on offer.

At your interview, mention that you have booked your Chrismas holiday already (hopefully its booked from 24th-25th onwards as Chrismas time is a no holiday policy) and if you get the job, make sure you tell that to your manager and he listens and aproves. Don`t be affraid to ask your manager anything, they are paid for that :)

9-2, 5 days a week is a 25hr contract not 30hr. It's what i'm on.

Hello, thank you for your help. But i think that i will have a big problem as my holidays are booked from 17th - 3rd.

Imagine that for some reason they say to me that ishould work between 9 and 2, but for some reason i can´t deliver all the letters. What should i do?
