Hello. Last Monday I`ve got an interview. Lady who met with me, said as my interview went verry well. Today I`ve receive an email "We are sorry to inform you that on this occasion your application has not been successful. You are eligible to re-apply for a vacancy with Royal Mail Group in six months’ time." It`s make me a bit confused: is that mean I didn`t pass interview or I passed but it was better candidate? Do I receive any other email as I`ve been put on a waiting list? Can I apply to other offices or I banned in six months? Is there any chance to know what went wrong?

It means you didn't pass the interview,if you were put on a waiting list the email would have said so that's why you have to wait 6 months to apply again
