Hi all, I have recently attended an interview and passed. Now awaiting the security checks. I have no criminal record so I'm confident of passing the disclosure. However, I'm unsure about the recruitment risk register. I worked in a temporary Christmas role for RM back in 2012 but was forced to leave due to ill health and the opportunity of a permanent role elsewhere. I was wondering if anyone knows if this could go against me or if the RRR is exclusively for any past employees who may have stolen mail etc.
Does anyone know if I were to fail the security, would it be possible to appeal?
Really desperate to get this job. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks :)

Depends on the reason behind the ill health and whether its continuing or likely to have an impact on you being able to carry out a very physical job. They'll have records about the ill health so no need to say what it was here, if you have been selected for interview then it must be a minor issue that doesn't concern them.

No appeal unless the rejection is based on protected characteristics under the Equality Act.. Eg disability, gender, age, creed, religion etcDoes anyone know if I were to fail the security, would it be possible to appeal?
