Is there any e-mail address or phone number i can call for a reference?

So basically i start working for RM in 2 and a half weeks on a permanent 24hr week contract.

I have put a deposit down on a flat to rent but they require references from my future employer (RM) before we can proceed - for proof of employment/earnings etc. Problem is i don't have any contact at royal mail other than the myapplciation@royalmail.com one, and they normally take 1-2 weeks to respond to e-mails (if at all), which is seriously slowing down the process of me getting a flat. I need this flat for when i start work as at the moment i live 200 miles away and am relocating for the job.

Just wondered if there is any phone number i can call or a different e-mail address where i can speed up the process.

Hi am I right in thinking you are joining Bradford South DO? If so the delivery office number is 01274750600 or for delivery department it's 01274750603 give that last number a call and explain your situation and hopefully someone will be able to advise you.

How long will they take to give a reference to an employer, I am starting a new job soon and I need a ref asap.
