So basically on 4th oct (8 days ago) i recieved the email i had been waiting for - offering me the job and inviting me to the welcome day on 31st oct followed by starting on 2nd nov.
However i must have written down the wromg notice period when i applied as my notice period is 1 month, but they obviously think it is 3 weeks.
Basically i replied saying the 3 and half weeks notice is not enough and would it be possible to attend & start a welcome day a week or so later.
Since then i have not had a response from them. I'm still holding out handing in my notice until i get a start date that would work.
Would you guys just be patient & wait or would you keep e-mailing them asking for updates every few days until they reply?
