..drive?
My husband wants to apply for a job as a post man but doesn't have a driving license and the job role only describes driving in a van with a partner before walking and delivering post for 4 hours. I was wondering if it's even worth applying or would he be dismissed from the first round of questions on the online questionnaire?

On the online form when you answer the question about driving with a no then you won't get any further.

The worse they can do is tut at you.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

This sounds good, he was thinking of doing that, so I think he'll apply anyway!
