WAITING LIST EMAIL ADVICE

Post by Chrish5244 »

Hi,
I've been on the waiting list for nearly 3 months but last week a perfect job came up at my local office. I put myself forward for it and a week later I got a reply stating I had been put forward for the job by recruitment and I would be considered along with other candidates. Has anyone else had this email and if so, what happened next? It seems the usual pattern for others on the list has been to receive a call or an email giving them a conditional offer but mine only says I have been"put forward". Just wondering what the reason might be really. Any advice appreciated.
Cheers

WAITING LIST EMAIL ADVICE

I have now had a reply asking for the "sharing code" for my driving license last week so I take it this is promising? (Not counting my chickens yet though!).
The original email mentioned in my first post was "step 2" and this latest email is "step 5 - endorsement checks online" so is this the security checks stage as I haven't been asked for anything else other than the driving license code? My status just says "interview/assessment". Could anyone else who's been through the process shed any light please?
Cheers

I sent the email to them 8 days ago but the job I applied for disappeared 2 days after it was put up.... not heard a peep from them. I thought you would at least get a confirmation that they received the email

Don't know if they do confirm or not, but check your spam folder just in case. Scammers and Spammers did use fake RM email addresses a while ago and some ISP added Royal Mail to the auto spam index.
