No, I believe that you have to give specific permission to allow them to do so.

However, with CCJs and Bankruptcy it may be different as they may appear on the background check.

Cool. I have no such problems as bankruptcy or a CCJ just a slightly patch credit rating in the last couple of years, so was a little worried it may count against me
