Is this actually possible?
I'm with Angard in a Mail Centre as a Casual but I want to work for the Royal Mail in a Delivery Office or as a Postie/Driver or even in the MC.
Is there a way to make this move internally at all?
Does it happen? Or is it a closed shop?
Cheers.

Not 100% how it would work with you guys, but apply online the normal way so you're in the system then as things get rolling see a screw.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

How do you search for internal vacancies?

Re: Moving from Angard to Royal Mail?
That website link is nonsense. It says there are no jobs in my area yet the 'civilian' Royal Mail recruitment site is listing quite a few.
Is there no physical contact to speak with recruitment at Royal Mail? Not Angard or Manpower but the Royal Mail ?
How do you ask about a transfer? When I phone the MC and they find out I'm Angard they say there's nothing they can do. My adviser at Angard says all she can do is arrange my shifts.
What the...?
