Waiting List Candidate

I am currently on the waiting list candidate for postman job as someone was more suitable for the job. There was two positions that recently came up so i put my name forward. i was just wondering if anyone has any idea what happens next and timescale of hearing back from someone?

As I am sure you have discovered, RM recruitment it is a slow process, but being on the waiting list normally means that you have passed all the time consuming checks so when you apply for another position it should fast track your application through. An exact timescale is hard to predict but normally within a week I would of thought.

I'm on the waiting list as well.
I emailed to ask to be considered for a job on 24th June and got an email back on 1st July to say I was being considered alongside the other candidates - so more than a week.
