Status says *attended interview*

Hi all can anyone shed any light on the status on i grasp *attended interview*??? It was *interview booked* it's just i assumed that I was automatically going through the vetting checks as you have to pre authorise when you apply. Anyone with any experience or advice on this would be appreciated. ️Thankyou.

They are not very good at changing statuses on time or even properly,see here for a rough idea on times...

I guess they are fairly slow at updating. I applied on 5th march so whole process has taken just shy of 8 weeks so maybe its just about on schedule but it keeps you hanging doesnt it! the longer it takes the more hope you get somehow....hopefully for something

just dont understand why its gone from 'interview bookek' to 'interview attended' without results.

IIRC the next stage is when the do the background checks, but as ever with an organisation that employes 130,000 + permanent staff amd probably around 5-10,000 casuals the recruitment process is a long one. Not as long as the forces though that can take 6 months to a year (or it did when I joined up).
