There seem to be a few threads on here that are similar and the general theme is that Royal Mail are dragging their feet at the moment. I don't know why exactly.

Looks like plenty of actual jobs with RM around that area. Maybe you could apply direct for one of those if they suit?

I applied on 18th Sep and got a confirmed position through on 27th Sep. Not had much communication since then, mind.

Seasonal sorters have already started in Glasgow Mail Centre.Many won’t last until Xmas, so you might still get a job.NB if you have only selected day shifts then your chances of getting a role are greatly reduced due to over subscription.

Good to know, thanks. Do you know what date they started there at Glasgow? I think i was put on the Waiting List cos I had to resubmit my documents and that lost me a week. Was kicking myself.
