Trial review - Put on long term contract

Post by BarryTorso »

Hi guys, first time posting on here, though been enjoying keeping up to date with matters on the forums. I was employed by Royal Mail in September on a fixed term contract until Feb 2022. Today I had a trial review and have been told I am now 'long term'. Can anyone clarify what this means? Another review after so long? Manager said new contract will be posted out to me. Any help is appreciated.

It sounds to me you're being given a permanent contract, which is usually the case if you're kept on once you've completed 6 months work w/o any major issues.
