DBS checks

Anyone had any further progress ?
My status changed to ‘pre-employment’ checks on 23rd May, so hoping to get my DBS letter through the post soon.

Hi, my status date changed on the 23rd so I’m hoping to hear about a start date any day now. My letter took 19 days from that date but I think it depends on the police force who give the information to DBS on how long it takes, I’m not sure! Apparently dbs had some issues as well so hopefully it won’t take to long for you

My checks were completed on the 9th,I received my letter on the 12th and I had a job offer on the 23rd,I’m so excited now. Good luck everybody,I know I’m the worst one for it but try not to worry it will be fine it’s just a long process x

Congratulations. I can’t wait for u to start so u can tell us about it! I put my notice in this afternoon as I’m confident they will be in touch next week regarding start date!

I’m a little way behind you guys, just submitted my dvla code. Though I am expecting a query cos my driving licence doesnt have all my middle names on it like my passport does.

I start on June the 18th so I will keep u all posted on what to expect but they are quite flexible with starts days so I could have started sooner if I was available so good for you jacko I’m sure u will be fine to. Fingers crossed u hear Tuesday now,did u email yesterday?

Hi all my Status changed on 23d this week to pre employment checks a week earlier on 16th I got email saying checks were being submitted and status date changed yesterday what does this mean ? Any one else’s status dates changed but not status ?

Hi, yes mine has changed in the same way on the same dates. I think it means someone from HR has updated your application in some way, but you have no way of knowing what or why. I think its progress though in that we’re edging closer to a start date.

My status changed on the 17th and I had an offer on the 23rd,so yeah like u say I think it’s that someone has updated ur application and waiting for hr to contact you now x

Hi, thanks, I emailed them but no reply! I think it’s a good sign that my status date changed tho?!

I had email saying they were submitted and that status changed the same day. Any date changes I take as a good sign!

I think I miss read your msg. I got the email and the status changes to pre employment checks and since the. My date has changed but not the status

HI this is my first post, I received the latter from the dbs a couple of days ago, what do I need to do now? The last email I had from RM was to send photo ID
