Mine has totally gone through now and says my certificate has been completed so yours may have to. If I hear anything from the Royal Mail I will let you know ASAP
I am in a similar situation to you. Got a letter from DBS today and rang them to chase it up. They said it was completed on the 8th and send back to Royal Mail. Been online and look at the check and I think it is all clear. To be honest it doesn't really say much apart my your details and the only thing i can see is a question that states are there any unspent convictions and mine says NO. I am unsure if i am going to hand my notice in yet or waiting for confirmation from Royal Mail.

Thanks, I found a number to call them on, they was not very helpful, just said it takes up to 14 working days so just have to sit and wait. I can’t wait to get a start date, I really dislike my current job and I’m so looking forward to this new job

It’s great that you have had the dbs back. Are they sending Royal Mail a copy or do u have to give it to them? I’m guessing it came back clear, does it say basic or standard? Hope you hear soon

It doesn’t say anything it’s jusy a code so you can log on online to check it but as I didn’t request it I assumed the Royal Mail would have to do this? I believe they receive there own copy of the certificate and letter

I emailed for update about my security checks and this was my reply
Thank you for your email.

Unfortunately our timescales are currently being extended for our recruitment process due to high volumes of applications and campaigns.

We are currently conducting a document check before your details are sent for security checks. We will be in touch in due course if there is any further information we require before sending you for your security check.

I emailed them again to chase up the security checks. I sent them a copy of my check that i had downloaded from dbs but they said Unfortunately we cannot accept your screenshot as confirmation of a passed security check and will need to wait for DBS to get back to us with their result before we can give you the all clear.

I then received an email saying that they have just received confirmation that you have passed your pre-employment checks so the next available start date is 29th May to attend a Welcome to Royal Mail course at Preston.

I replied to this to confirm it would be ok for me to attend but not had a formal offer confirmation email yet and my online status is still pre employment checks.
