MAST Cleaner Grades

Dear Colleagues,

Branches will be aware that it has been the policy of the CWU for some time now to assimilate the MAST Cleaners onto RMP & FS grades and to harmonise their Pay, Terms and Conditions.

We are pleased to confirm that following the re-integration of ROMEC into Royal Mail Group and the formation of Royal Mail Property and Facilities Solutions as a standalone bargaining unit, this has now been agreed and confirmation has been received that the 42 MAST Cleaners that were TUPE’d over from POL into ROMEC will now have their Pay, Terms and Conditions harmonised with those of their RMP & FS colleagues.

We can now confirm that the 42 MAST cleaners have now been moved to standard Cleaning grades, backdated to 1 July 2017. Arrears will appear in this month’s pay.

Any new recruits to these posts will be placed on the new Terms and Conditions.
