Need contact details for Background Check

Hi, I worked as a Christmas casual over Christmas and have been offered a job that involves a background check. This check requires me to give contact details for all previous employers over the last year, but the Royal Mail won't give me any contact details. I emailed Third Party Enquiries but they said they can only send references directly to the employer. I can't do this job without contact details but the Royal Mail won't give me anything I can send to them.

It might be somewhere in the paperwork they emailed to you before starting as a Christmas Casual.
