Hi
I have received one of the upgraded contract last year Temporary move Part Time to Full Time.
It has been 1 year and I didn’t received full time contract yet. I have been working 1 year and get paid 39 hours every week.
My question do you think I am permanent full time employee or RM can downgrade me at any time when they don’t need me?
I have spoken to HR and asked them Full Time contract they sent letter that I am working full time right now with temporary movement part time to full.
I have also spoken to my Union and he said if I have been 1 year working Full time position and receiving 39 hours on my slip that RM can’t downgrade me anymore simply I am full time.
Would you please give advise if anyone on same situation or has got experience withy RM rules.
Thanks

Temporary move Part Time to Full Time Contract
From what you have said, you have temporarily been made up to full time which means they can put you back down to your previous contract hr's any time they like.Hasancelik wrote:Hi

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
