Sorry to jump on the thread, but can somebody advise of the time scale for Xmas temp applications? Applied on 2nd Sep, application changed to "under review" on 4th Sep. I know it takes a while for anything to happen with RM - not sure if it was the same for the Xmas temp stuff. Thanks.

Unfortunately it's usually longer as they do a mass recruitment to cover 18,000 - 20,000 vacancies. It's going to be a long haul.

Handy hint, make sure you have @royalmail white listed so it doesn't go into your spam folder.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
