Hi there, been in a bit of a fuss, hope people can help me.
I was a Christmas Temp who got offered a contract with Angard. I signed up and a month later I got a shift. That was February the 24th. A month later on March the 24th, I get a call for another shift on Wednesday the 30th of March. Now, after this I apparently fell into vetting for not getting more shifts. My name was not on the sign on sheet at the Glasgow Mail Centre but they told me it was fine and I could just write my name at the bottom. I worked a 10 hour shift and a week later, I hadn't been paid. They claimed I hadn't been called at all, I was not allowed shifts due to vetting and they had no record I worked. I was asked to prove I worked that shift. The Mail Centre remembered I worked an said they'd send the sign in sheet to prove it. A few weeks later, I call to ask if it was sent and the Mail Centre say it was but Angard say there is still no record of me working and I'm still in vetting.
What should I do? I have proof they called (the number is in my phone history) and the mail centre have proof I worked but Angard won't pay me and have stuck me in vetting for over a month. Will I ever get offered shifts again?
