Hi all,
I have worked for Royal Mail as a xmas casual on 2 occasions and I have recently been given an interview with Angard as a casual mail sorter. Is the interview the same as the xmas casual one whereby they basically take copies of all the relevant paperwork etc rather than a proper formal interview, from what I can gather it is the same procedure? Also is there much chance of being taken on perminantly as a Royal Mail employye in the future if you work hard and show willing?

Re: Angard Interview
There's no formal interview as far as I know. Judging by some of the people they send along for shifts, Angard would probably register a corpse if it turned up with the correct paperwork. Being hard working and willing counts for nothing with them. They only care that you turn up for your shift so they can collect their money. The only vacancies with Royal Mail seem to be on the delivery side, with driving. There are none in processing.
