Job closer to home.......
Hi I've recently passed my interview and now waiting for my security checks to clear... The job I have gone for is 7 miles away... One has become available 2 miles away.... Is it possible to transfer during the application process???

Lol it's not the distance part that bothered me.... It's the fact one closer to him is permanent ..... The one further away is 6 month temp :p

With all due respect why are you picking up that point, the poster wasn't complaining about the distance, she was just asking a question about transferring to an office closer to her address, nothing wrong with that is there.Justanotherstar wrote:

Also its a bit hard to MAN up unless she is considering gender reassignment.
Its not a question that comes up a lot, but it might be worth popping into the new office and asking to speak to the DOM, I think you can also add offices to your list on the job application page, if you can't that would be stupid.Jessllew wrote:Hi I've recently passed my interview and now waiting for my security checks to clear...
