Status changed to Security Checks passed

Dear All,

My application status has been changed to security checks passed for the postman/driving role.
Im surprised it took only 2 days after the email i received about the conditional offer and a security check will be done.

Is it because i passed the security check few weeks back for the Temp Xmas role that I got quick results this time?

Will they call me or email me regarding the induction date? Any idea how soon i can start work?

** Also at the interview the gentleman who interviewed me said 3 months contracts are renewable subject to performance.
Anyone else been extended the 3 months contract and given a permanent job? Or will be it be always 3 months contract forever ?
