Casual Mail Sorter - Leeds

Post by ditta.ikram »

I was told the role I applied for Casual Mail Sorter - Leeds was a 0 hour Contract. I'm wanting to do full time hours roughly how many hours a week does a person get on average?

Is this for Christmas or year round with Angard?

Don't expect anywhere near full time hours apart from peek periods like Christmas. My weekly average over 2 years have been around 20 (last financial year) and less than 10 (this financial year).

I think 2/3 shifts is a good average for most which once AWR qualified is a decent amount (probably works out the same as doing full time on minimum wage) although around april it went completely dead and most were lucky to get 1 shift a week, it can make living very stressful.

I've had between 4 hours and about 25 hours per week this financial year, but the higher figures usually include staying late after being booked for a only few hours

PS checked back and averaging 15 hours pw, though Xmas will raise the average a bit
