Angard staff and bank holiday pay??

We have worked well over 12 weeks for Angard staffing at one of the mail centres, we worked from 10.30pm last Thursday night until 06.30am Good Friday morning, do we qualify for bank holiday pay rates from midnight til 06.30??. What are the approved pay rates?

Have you been informed that you are AWR qualified?

Your pay rates will depend upon where you are working so it would be hard for anyone here to tell you what they are for normal rates nevermind bank holidays. Think bank holidays may be paid at Sunday rate but you will need to check. You could always ask Angard and see if they will tell you.

Thanks for that. Yes we were informed a while a go that we come under AWR .
I will ask Angard, however, I do find that you can get different answers from different staff members at Angard.
I do wish that the big bosses at Royal Mail would do a week of the undercover boss role just to see what a massive shake up
the business needs on the shop floor!! and consider a full survey of Angard workers views.
