I received a phone call last week to tell me that I start on the 28th November doing the early 6-2 shift. At the moment I've still not received my ID badge, is this normal?
A friend has also told me that I'll be doing training until I 'go live' on the 3rd December. Do we get paid for this, and if so how much can I expect? I have worked in this role before but it was a 4 or so years ago now, and other than the fact I enjoyed it I can't remember too much about it.
I've found out that we do indeed get paid for the training, though I'm not sure how much or how many hours/days it lasts for. I'm sure it lasted for 3 days or so when I last did the keyer job 4 years ago...
But I'm still really confused as to how and when I will get my ID badge, as I've read a couple of different answers elsewhere.

I've worked at the Mdec for the last 2 years (although at Stockport not Stoke) I've always received my Id on the first day going in, they just hand them out :)

Yeah, I found that out this morning.
Do you know how long the training lasts for...and how much we get paid for it?
