Starting dates

Post by Manniman47 »

I received a phonecall a week ago from Angard saying I start at the MDEC in stockport on 21st Nov 2012, but my online application status still says processing security checks. I've not received anything in the mail from them either. Should I still go in on the 21st even if it still says that I've not passed the security checks?

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

ID badges are normally issued to Christmas casuals on their first day or at an induction day.

That's good to hear, as I've started to get a bit worried that I'd not received anything through the post and have my first day in just over a weeks time. :thumbup
