SCOTTISH/EDINBURGH XMAS TEMPS

Post by supershaunic »

Thought I would start a Scottish thread as the others seem to be more English based. Does anybody have a start date? What does your status say? Where about in Scotland/Edinburgh are you expected to start? Has anyone done it before?

My start date is 19 Nov at the Sighthill Industrial Estate office. My status says PROCESSING SECURITY CHECKS but the (DS) part is gone, assuming ive passed :dance

From what I can tell just comfy and warm. Sitting on an uncomfy chair for most of the shift, living the dream. No need for steel toe caps or anything. Were you told you would defo work Sat? Guy told me its over time just depends if its busy. Obviously want as many hours as possible.

The guy just asked me to pick a shift from the board, didnt mention anything about garenteed hours though. Check your status mine changed to "processing offer" today so I'm assuming security checks have been passed.

My status changed today as far as I am aware. As it was still at, "Processing Security Checks" yesterday. Today it's now at, "Security checks passed". So I am guessing I am just waiting for my confirmation e-mail of my start then :hmmmm

FYI should doing the nightshift 10pm-6am at the Edinburgh sorting office.

Has changed to PROCESSING OFFER. No letters or emails or phone calls. Not the most organised of systems methinks. As far as Im aware Im starting on the 19th. Is it all sorting office work?
