Just received a call from RM,, i was given a start date for the 19th nov,, It has now been brought forward to the 5th nov (lates) for "eurocentral",, anyone else ?

No, but my start date is Nov 26th, which to me is a late start, but the Christmas Casual jobs are on the Jobcentreplus website (posted Sep 4th, so we didn't get a headstart!) & the start date is from Nov 5th - Dec 10th. But I don't know of anybody who has been given an earlier start date!

@Britvic55 The jobcentre website lists the start date for Eurocentral as Nov 5th?

Probably the same "ad" is used for all jobcentres & they just change the depot name!

the ad does say "Start dates between 05 Nov and 10 DeC." so looks like it's just a template.

Maybe I'll just wait and see what happens, I didn't expect to have to do my phone enquiries so early this year...

Was it a with-held number ? i had one earlier which i missed , but i'm due to start on the 19th up Eurocentral on nights

Like i say i had an with-held number phone about 12-1 ish but no voicemail , if someone had a number that would be ideal

I tried phoning them up but it was just out of hours staff who couldnt help.

Got the call yesterday here too - was scheduled to start on December 3 but now November 5, also nightshift!

I had a missed call from a withheld number - FML.

Why can't they leave a message or something?

If they don't phone again, do you think I'd be able to wing it and just show up on the 5th? Is there anyone I should try phoning?
